The Houston Junior
Forum offers donors a variety of opportunities for giving:
Houston Junior
Forum College Scholarship Program
In 1976, the Houston Junior Forum established
the scholarship program for deserving students who attended
the HJF Community House Preschool. In 2012, scholarships
in the amount of $2,000 were awarded to 21 students.

HJF Endowment
Fund, Incorporated
In 1983, the Houston Junior Forum established
the HJF Endowment Fund, Incorporated to provide future
funding of its projects. Each year a portion of the
earnings generated by this fund is used to help support,
sustain or expand Houston Junior Forum projects. The
Houston Junior Forum Endowment Fund Inc. Board of Trustees
is responsible for the direction, fund management and
distribution of funds.
Houston Junior
Forum Community Grants Program
In 2011, HJF initiated a grants program
that expands financial assistance for volunteer sites
serving senior adults and children. Current projects
include Houston Department of Health and Human Services
Foundation Inc. - See to Succeed, Cornerstone Family
Ministries, the Nehemiah Center, Inc., the Senior Guidance
Directory, Home Delivered Meals of Katy – First
United Methodist Church of Katy, Third Age Learning
Center of All Saints Catholic Church, the Watercolor
Art Society - Houston, and the Weaving Class at St.
Mark’s Church.
Memorials and Honorarium
Donors may remember loved ones or special
friends or recognize significant occasions. Gifts may
be restricted or unrestricted.
Underwriter
The Forum encourages individuals, corporations
and organizations to underwrite specific budgeted items
for its projects.
